Growing your own sprouts is so easy if you simply follow these 3 easy steps after buying your supplies – you will need organic sprouting seeds, water and a jar with a fine mesh screen or cheese cloth with some rubber bands to secure the lid. To start growing your own sprouts, start but soaking your seeds overnight. In the diagram alfafa sprouts are illustrated because they are one of the easiest types of sprouts to sprout.

In step 2, in the morning strain the water. You can use the left over water from straining to water house plants to conserve water.

Next let the sprouts drain and sit in a nice cool area away from direct sunlight. Simply repeat steps 2 and 3 until the alfalfa sprouts start sprouting and reach a good size, in about 7 days. Good luck!
